Since 1995, Dr. Tasha Dodd has provided exceptional patient care at Hopkins Dental in Tasmania. Specialising in dental anxiety management, paediatric dentistry, and special needs dentistry, she ensures a comfortable dental experience for all family members. Dr. Dodd excels in restorative dentistry and oral rehabilitation, focusing on restoring dental health and confidence for patients with previous dental challenges. Dr Tasha Dodd has been enjoying the beautiful state of Tasmania since 1995. After graduating from Auckland and Otago Universities in New Zealand with bachelor’s degrees in Science and Dental Surgery, she joined Hopkins Dental Surgery in 2003, following on from her time in Kingston and Burnie.
In 2007, she became a joint principle of the practice with Dr Newman and in 2016 welcomed Dr Ruchika Garg as a partner upon Dr Newman’s retirement. Together Dr’s Dodd and Garg focus their attention on maintaining the surgeries excellent reputation whilst implementing technological advances, with an aim to providing the best possible care and options for their patients.
During this time, she has raised two children of whom she is very proud and enjoys being part of their growth and development as young adults.
Dr Dodd likes to create a relaxed environment for her patients and is committed to ensuring that they and their extended families experience lifelong dental health. Her main interests in the field of dentistry are helping the anxious patient to become confident during their visits, restoring and rehabilitating mouths that have not been so fortunate and creating a safe, happy environment for a child’s first visit.
