The best book of its kind, how to draw idealized figures of the Chicago School epitomized by Loomis and his studio mates Gil Elvgren and Haddon Sundblom. As is the case with most reprints of this type, the grey tones of the original publisher's edition are flattened out in this reprint. The tonal drawings are the most affected, the ink line drawings the least.
